Who We Are

Whitman Mold, Inc. moved to its Orangeburg, S.C. location in 1980 to meet the needs of industry in the area of mold design and mold building including product design, prototyping, associated fixtures and tooling and mold repair (which includes fine TIG welding).

What We Do

Whitman Mold, Inc. specializes in horizontal and vertical molds, protoype molds, insert molds and cam type molds. Also aluminum die cast molds and trim dies for die casting.

Whitman Mold, Inc. has an 18,000 square foot facility that currently has 23 injection molding presses. The presses range from 100 tons to 1,000 tons. This facility also has a supported tool and die shop. Whitman Mold, Inc. is capable of sampling tooling and running production jobs.

With CAD/CAM, CNC, and EDM (Ram and Wire) technology, Whitman Mold, Inc. offers precise design and can easily hold close tolerances on cavity details. Rapid Tooling and Rapid Prototype technologies are also available.
